Autumn brings with it a celebration of colour. Trees and hedges display their new coats of vibrant hues along roadsides and garden paths.

This extra-long stole incorporates row upon row of short row segments that follow a winding path, changing colour from one section to the next. Choose a palette that speaks to you as you work the pattern of your very own hedgerow.


Scarf: 159 cm./63.5 in. long and 31 cm./12.4 in. wide
Shawl: 222 cm./89 in. long and 50 cm./20 in. wide

Level of Difficulty: Advanced Intermediate

Suggested Yarn: 600 m./656 yds. (for scarf version) and 1150 m./1258 yds. (for shawl version as pictured) in different colourways. Fingering or sport weight yarns are recommended.

Needles: 4.0 mm. (US 6) and 5.0 mm. (US 8) long circular needles

Gauge: 15.5 sts and 31 rows = 10 cm./4 in. square in Garter Stitch
