The "Squash Blossom" shawlette has been designed to celebrate the third anniversary of the Tinsmith's Wife Yarn Shop in Comfort, Texas.
With its use of turquoise and delicate lace patterning, this piece is reminiscent of the elaborate necklaces typical of Native American jewelry.
Just like its source of inspiration, it uses an image commonly found in Native American jewelry, the squash blossom.
The sample pictured is knit with Handmaiden Swiss Silk, 100% silk, (400 m./437 yds. per 100 g. skein), colour "Turquoise".
