Like watery ripples, the undulating stitch pattern of this shawlette flows gracefully down its length. Worked downwards and outwards from the centre at the Back Neck to its gentle tip at the bottom, this piece simulates the action of waves, each one curling onto the next.
When worked in a self-striping yarn, the movement of the stitch pattern is highlighted even further.
The sample pictured is knit with Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Crazy, 75% virgin wool, 25% nylon, (420 m./460 yds. per 100 g. ball), colour "Fliederduft" ("Lilac Fragrance").
