Two Weddings

Two weddings in a single week-end!
What a marathon of eating and celebrating and hugging and raising glasses and talking and more eating! Yet what more wonderful way to spend a beautiful, sunny, summer week-end in Nova Scotia?
Each of the two couples had two very different weddings. One traditional, held in a church, the bride in a glorious white dress, the groom in full tuxedo. The other secular, non-traditional, the bride in glorious pink, the groom in an open-collared shirt. Both settings were perfect: the bright, sun-filled church for the one and outdoors, overlooking the Northwest Arm in Halifax, for the other.

Both occasions also gave me the chance to wear two of my shawls from the current Linen Collection: Straw into Gold and Flight of Fancy.

Both weddings were wonderful, celebratory events. Congratulations to Kit and Chris and to Anita and Sean. Much happiness to you all.
