Photographer Seung Kye Lee

When doing research for the Norway scarf, I came across the ethereal and evocatively beautiful photography of Seung Kye Lee. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he now makes his home in Oslo, Norway, where he captures images of the unique quality of the northern landscape.
Seung very kindly allowed me to use this photograph from Rondane National Park called "King Winter", to give you a taste of his unique sensibility. Here he captures the relentless coming of winter while autumn colours still grace the lower slopes.
You have to go to his website to see more examples of his stunning work: http://www.leeseungkye.com/. Reading his blog, too, will give you more insight into how he achieves his views of stunning vistas and intimate close-ups alike.
I can honestly say that Seung's photography takes my breath away. Be prepared to be transported to a mystical and spiritual place when viewing his work.
Thanks, Seung, for sharing your incredible vision.
