That’s exactly why my husband has not had a sweater knitted by me in years. All he wants are boring, plain, stocking stitch sweaters and that’s the kind of thing I don’t like knitting. Although I used to knit him lovely, Norwegian, ski sweaters and he loved those.

I was knitting your beautiful Brickwork pattern as a scarf in a hand dyed alpaca.  The colors are golds and peaches.  It will be perfect for the spring.  I love your patterns and have purchased and made several.  Some are on my list of “things to make”.  Your work is easy to follow and beautiful to make.  Thanks, Jan.

hi, Ilga,
Holiday traveling (i.e. sitting, waiting for delayed flights!) allowed me to use a skein of lovely blue, lavender and purple Peter Rabbit angora from Fleece Artist.  I used your free neck warmer pattern (Beech Wood).  What a lovely pattern! a nice mixture of fun rows with soothing knit and purl rounds..it saved me from airport insanity!  thank you for posting it.
