Ilga's Knitting World

From the entry 'Dialogue with Lynne Barr'.

I am in the usual “only X days before Xmas” mode this morning and took at QUICK look at this interview and plan to print it ASAP so I can read it in the car on the way to doing errands.  “Thinking” about knitting is one of my few ways to stay sane, but I am still in the finding enough time to knit mode, but I do love to read about it, too.  I really look forward to finishing this article (and the book --Santa Wish list!)

Have you tried any of the patterns from Knitting for Him?  I knitted Snowflake Jacket (page 95).  I don’t understand how the collar will lay flat.  Worked to 30 sts then work even.  The collar seems like it needs short rows or something.  Can you give some insite.  Only been knitting a few years.  Thanks.

Fantastic collection; the crop jacket is elegant and interesting while I love!! Moorland--looks like the ribbing makes a bit of shaping in the back..it this the case?
great work!
