Back from the Frolic

I am back from the Knitter's Frolic in Toronto, exhausted, but happy.
It was a great show. We had lots of visitors to our booth and it was fun meeting so many knitters all in one day. They had a chance to see the original samples in person and to try them on, too.
The biggest draw seemed to be the Kauni Effektgarn. Everyone seemed fascinated by this unique yarn with the long colour repeats and the way they worked with some of my patterns.

I had brought along a selection of designs from the Kauni Collection so that everyone could see this unusual yarn in action. And once they touched the actual yarn, so much softer once washed and blocked, many of them were hooked.
The Frolic was the place to be last Saturday. So many wonderful yarn dyers and suppliers, designers, and yarn shops. A huge selection of anything a knitter could want.
Across from my booth was Tanis of Tanis Fiber Arts with her incredible display of her hand-dyed yarns. Such beautiful colours. It was difficult to choose among them all.

Next to me was Shelridge Farm, always one of the most beautiful booths in the show.

And down the way was my favourite bookstore, Needle Arts Book Shop, run by Marsha White.

With all the wonderful vendors and knitters, it is a great show. I am already looking forward to next year!
