Announcing the Linen Collection
I am now offering my Spring and Summer 2010 designs, the Linen Collection, for pre-order. The first design will be released in mid-April.
Linen has long been one of my favourite fibres. And with this collection I have had a chance to indulge myself--with pure linen and with blends using silk and linen together. Oh, luxury!
And now you can do the same.
This year I will be releasing each of the 5 designs in the Linen Collection, one at a time, beginning in mid-April. You can order the full collection of patterns for $35.00 CAD, a discount of 40% from the full retail price.
Two of the designs are for shawls worked in Handmaiden's Flaxen (65% silk, 35% linen). This yarn is a dream to work with. You can pre-order these kits as well--and choose one of 4 colours when you place your order.

All of the designs have a summery feel to them, light and airy, featuring lace and openwork stitches. Perfect for the characteristics of linen: stability and drape.
