Packing Up for the Frolic

My studio is a joyous mess at the moment as I pack up for the Knitter's Frolic in Toronto in a couple of weeks.

Hosted each year by Toronto's Downtown Knit Collective, the Knitter's Frolic is a week-end of classes, a marketplace, a raffle and other knitterly events. I will have a booth at the Marketplace, so please come by and visit. The date for the Marketplace is Saturday, 08 May, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

I will be bringing a number of my knitted samples, including a preview of a couple of upcoming designs. Although I will be highlighting spring and summer pieces, I'll make sure that I have a good sampling of all my work.

And there will be yarn:

Here is the start of my Kauni Ekkeft yarn stash that I'll be bringing along. Luscious, long colour-repeated yarn. I'll have some of my designs with me that feature this unique yarn. So you will be able to see it in action. And feel what it is like once it has been washed and blocked.

For those of you still wondering about joining the International Year of the Scarf, I'll have the scarf samples with me, including the May scarf.

As a special treat, I'll be bringing along a selection of brooches and shawl pins made by Perl Grey:

So there'll be something for everyone. I am looking forward to seeing you at the Frolic!
