International Year of the Scarf Featured in Yarn Forward

I was thrilled to receive the latest issue of Yarn Forward magazine and see the International Year of the Scarf (IYS) knitting club featured in this issue.
In the section "News We Love", the editors at Yarn Forward wrote an excellent feature on the IYS club. I expect that it will cause more knitters to take a look at the knitting opportunities that the IYS club offers.

Yarn Forward is a UK-based knitting magazine that is getting stronger and stronger with each issue. With so many knitting magazines cropping up everywhere, it must be difficult to carve out a unique niche. But Yarn Forward seems to be doing just that. The fact that it comes out every month (except for a couple of months in the summer when, let's face it, everyone deserves a vacation) makes it particularly satisfying to knitters hungry for new projects and new ideas.
It achieves a good balance between articles on techiniqes and knit happenings with patterns and design ideas. One interesting feature addresses the question that knitters often ask: How does a design come about? Each month one of its designers is interviewed to explore how an inspiration or an idea in the mind of the designer results in the final design.
There seems to be something of interest in every issue.
Thanks for the kudos for the IYS Club, Yarn Forward!
