A Fresh Look at Fluid Linen

A few weeks ago, while the summer sun was still high in the sky, I decided to take another look at one of my earlier designs, Fluid Linen.
So Hannah and I went down to the Northwest Arm to re-shoot the piece.
Fluid Linen is worked in white cotton, in a diagonal stitch pattern that uses twisted stitches to create the ridges.

It is one of the first designs in which I indulge my love of diagonals.
The high neckline, accented with pearl-shaped buttons, completes the elegant look.

Shot against the backdrop of blue water on a bright, sunny day, Fluid Linen has lived up to her name.
