‘Tis the Season for “In the Piazza”

After we finished the photo shoot this week-end, my model (Hannah) took the camera and turned it on me. It was fun to have the tables turned.
That day was the first chance I have had to wear my "In the Piazza" sweater poncho this spring.
The weather has just been too cold until now. But with the first day of warmth, I slipped on this sweater with its easy styling, that lets me pull it over anything I am wearing at the time. No need for bulky winter jackets now.

My version is knit with Fleece Artist Woolie Silk 3-Ply (worked with the yarn doubled) in the colour "Amber" and is the Medium/Large size.
I introduced this pattern last fall as part of my Fall/Winter collection. But it works as a spring garment as well. It is featured in my ad in the Spring/Summer 2009 issue of Vogue Knitting.

This issue is on sale now. Go take a look. The beautiful cover design alone is worth the price of this issue.
