Beech Wood in Spring
It is finally spring in Nova Scotia and the beech leaves from last summer continue to cling.
Drained of their russet colour, pale and wrinkled, but still very much part of the tree. Unrelenting, even as pussy willows have had their day and buds on the trees are ready to burst with new leaves.
