Images from a Latvian Farm

And these images are not from just any farm. Apshenieki was my father's farm in Latvia.
It was the place where he was born and where he grew up, in western Latvia, not far from Liepaja. It now belongs to his granddaughter's family and so has been reclaimed from the Soviets by our family. I have had the delight to visit it a few times, in its different states. But always in summer.
These images, taken by by nephew Martins, are very special. It is wonderful to see how beautiful the farm looks in winter, when one can see its bones.
