Inspired to Knit

A few days ago I bought a copy of Michele Rose Orne's new book, Inspired to Knit. And it truly does make me feel inspired to knit.
What a beautiful book-with the most exquisite designs! This is knitting design in its highest form.

The patterns incorporate many different techniques and styles of knitting, some more challenging than others.
But don't be daunted. These are all knittable pieces and the knitting of them would be a reward in itself. You will be creating an heirloom, a stunning, unique work of art.
Not only are these beautiful designs, but Michele Rose Orne tells you how she does it: where she finds her inspiration and how she translates that inspiration into a design. She shares her approach in the use of mood boards. She collects together, into a collage, the many images and objects that speak to her.

Michele also gives advice along the way, encouraging knitters to experiment and find their own voice in adapting her ideas. This generous sharing of her craft will certainly inspire many others to knit--and design.
Congratulations, Michele, on your wonderful work!
