Balsam for Him
As we approach that time of year when we have to begin our Christmas knitting projects, I had the idea that Balsam doesn't have to be just for women. Choose a more "manly" colour and it could be for men, too.
To try out the idea, I asked a male friend to try it on and we liked it so much that I decided to include it on my site. Although Bjorn might not choose to wear it as a hood--although he could--it makes for a cozy neck wrap under a jacket or coat. It adds a splash of colour and lends a debonair look. Much like the ascots that men used to wear in former times.
This version uses Fleece Artist Woolie Silk 3-Ply in Moss. A single skein is enough to make a version for your special man, if you omit the full-length of the hood.
