 On Thursday, March 22nd,
a fire destroyed much of Earth Art Cashmere, a farm
belonging to Chris and Christina Silver, near River John, Nova Scotia. More
than 40 of the Silvers' cashmere goats were killed. The century-old farm,
which was in the course of being brought up to code, was not yet insured.
In addition to this hardship, Chris has been battling leukemia.
