Queen Anne’s Lace at the River

As many of you know, I love to incorporate the natural environment of Nova Scotia into my designs. Here I became captivated by a field of Queen Anne's Lace growing high along the banks of a river.
We were on a photo shoot, down at the river level, earlier in the day. On our walk back up the slope to our car, I came upon this field of lacy, white flowers, so perfectly named.

What a pleasure to see these still in bloom so late in the season!
